On this pictures you can see my two different costumes (bunad). The first one is "Beltestakken (the belt stack), which comes from Telemark county. A seamstress have maid the first one for me. The second, also comes from Telemark, but east in the county. This one I have embroidered and mounted myself. I come from Telemark, therefore, my costumes also comes from that county. For all the costumes, we carry costume jewelry in silver or gold.
The belt, which the costume is named after, is a chapter for itself. It is hand woven by skilled weavers in Telemark.
Beltestakken has been on my wishlist for years. I think it's beautiful with these earth colors.
The width of the skirt is approx. 8 meter fabric.
I have several shirts from before with colored embroidery, why this shirt is completely white with white embroidery. Noller has also a costume, and his shirt is quite similar to mine. All shirts are embroidered by hand.

To our church wedding, I will wear this bridal crown into my latest costume in the pictures above. It is hand made by a silversmith from Telemark.
It is 25 years since I embroidered my old Eastern Telemark-costume. It has been used up to several times each year and will continue to be used in the future. Here is the back of the jacket.
This image shows the embroidery on the bottom of the skirt and the apron. The large embroidery in the middle is called Telemark Rose, witch is famous in several parts of the world, especially in the U.S.

This lovely little girl also carrying a Beltestakk. Notice the shoes, it is important to use shoes belonging to the costumes. The shoes have silver buckles.
