I'm going to be a round number on my birthday on 24th April, and therefore I have purchased a gift for myself. Although the spring is just around the corner, I have bought some clothes in Germany that I am going to use when the autumn comes back again - maybe even a little bit now, we have still cold days here in Norway :)
The sheepskin jacket is made of German Merino Sheepskin with buttons of genuine buffalo horn. It is tailored in Westfalen. Merino sheep have a strong and solid skin, which is also very soft, the wool is fine, dense and naturally warm. The fur side is shaved down after tanning, because the wool is going to have a particularly dense and silky texture. It will only be used large leather pieces, which reduces the number of seams to a minimum. The jacket is tailored shape and has a leather collar that can be closed when necessary.
Pulse warmers of sheepskin belonging to the jacket.
McKernan ribbed wool crepe shawl - 200cm x 70cm
Eribé raglan sweater in 100% pure undyed wool from peerage sheep. The casual sweater with raglan sleeves, roll edges on the hems and a high collar that can be worn as a turtleneck. The soft, almost non-woven surface is particularly pleasant.
I also bought checkered flannel beddings from Home & Cottage
