They say that it is impossible to go back to what it was. It is not true for this property at Lake Genval. The house, in raw wood and shades of sand and ashes, is just like many childhood memories.
Lake Genval near Brussels in Belgium attracts residents from the capital every weekend. The surroundings are fantastic and there are hundreds of cabins and a five-starred hotels.
House made ​​no impression upon the owners when they first saw it, but it did however the view from the windows!

The house is furnished with antiques from the Netherlands, natural material, untreated wood (oak staircase comes from a ruined castle) and muted earth tones: brown and different shades of sand, ash and white.
The owners dreamed of getting a kitchen as it was in the old Dutch houses which can be seen in the paintings of Dutch masters - it has certainly succeeded. The kitchen has beautiful pots and pans made ​​of brass styled around the large and beautiful stove.
Every time you cook dinner, drink coffee or read the newspaper and accidental look out the window, one is captivated by the view and can not take your eyes from the lake.
